NIT Patna Engineer Secures Rs 2 Crore Annual Salary Package at Google; Abhishek Kumar From Bihar

Abhishek’s father, Indradev Yadav, is a lawyer at Jamui Civil Court, while his mother, Manju Devi, is a homemaker. From early on, the importance of learning was ingrained in him, a principle he credits for his success. “This is my biggest achievement, and I’m very excited,” Abhishek is quoted in the report. “Working at Google is a dream for many software engineers, and I’m thrilled to have the chance to work on projects that can have a real impact.”
Abhishek’s rise to success wasn’t without challenges. After completing his schooling in Jamui, he earned his degree in software engineering from NIT Patna. His career quickly took off when he landed a ₹1.08 crore job with Amazon in 2022, where he worked until March 2023. He then transitioned to a German investment firm’s foreign exchange trading unit.
Abhishek attended Jhajha City School for Classes 1 to 10 and Patna High School for Classes 11 and 12. In 2018, he got admission to NIT Patna. During his graduation years, Abhishek, enrolled in the Computer Science stream and developed an interest in coding.
The road to success wasn't easy. Abhishek had to balance work and interview preparation. He would often work 8-9 hours and spend the remaining time honing his programming skills and strategies for the tough interview at Google.

"Though I was already working for another company, preparing for an interview while working was a big challenge," Abhishek revealed. "I had to devote at least 8-9 hours to my work and the remaining time to preparing for the interview. It was very important to have a good interview strategy and stick to that strategy consistently." The time I spent on coding was spent on preparing for interview questions and ultimately helped me to crack all the interviews. ”
Abhishek’s dedication and strategy paid off and helped him crack Google’s interviews. He also talked about how he overcame personal challenges. “I come from a small town and have roots in a village where houses were made of mud, but now I have got the right resources to build a new house.
He addressed the audience with a message: “Everything is possible. I strongly believe that irrespective of where you come from, be it a small town or a big city, every child can get the best chance with the necessary dedication.” It motivated him to work harder to give them a better life. “Once we got the resources, we took them to the best hospitals and got them treated. "I always focused on my studies as I strongly believed that education would enhance the happiness of the entire family," he said.
Abhishek attributes his success to his family's support and focus on education. "My parents and older brother were my biggest inspirations," he said. He is the younger of two siblings.
